This is a drop-in
clinic. no appointments, which means first come first
served.
How old do I have to be?
At Streetwise you do not have
to be over 16, you can still come to our sexual health clinic and are entitled
to the same rights.
You don't have to be sexually active to come to the contraceptive and sexual
health sessions. Even if you are just thinking about having sex and want more
information, or if you want to talk to a worker....
Will my mam find out?

WHAT CONTRACEPTION CAN I GET
@ STREETWISE?

You can get:
- Emergency Contraception also called the morning after pill – you
can take this up to 72 hours (3 days) after you have had unprotected sex. This
can stop you from getting pregnant.
- Condoms, these too will stop pregnancy and also condoms can
prevent you from catching or passing on a Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI).

- Pills and Injections when you see the nurse or doctor they
can discuss which method would be best for you, pills and injections will stop
pregnancy, but if you are worried about STIs then you will need to also use a
condom.
